Paintings set on fire

KOCHI, JAN. 5. The Fine Arts students of Government R.L.V. College, Thripunithura, today set fire to their paintings in front of the principal's office accusing the teachers of giving low grades in examination.

Today's agitation followed the incident on Tuesday in which a student, Sabu, set fire to his marklist and paintings when he found out that his marks were below the minimum required to apply for the MFA course.
