Contributions for tsunami victims

HYDERABAD,
JAN. 5.
Prasad Film Laboratories Private Limited on Wednesday donated Rs. 5 lakhs to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund for the tsunami victims in the State.
The cheque was handed over to the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, by the Prasad Group Managing Director, Ramesh Prasad, according to a press release here.
Students of Amaravathi Grammar High School in Seetaphalmandi collected donations worth Rs. 20,000 and presented a demand draft to the Chief Minister. Students of Master Talent School in Khairatabad collected Rs. 6,660 towards the relief fund.
Shakti group gesture
Shri Shakti Group contributed Rs. 5 lakhs to relief fund. Of this, Rs.1.5 lakhs is contributed by Chirec Public School management as well as staff.
Remaining Rs.3.5 lakhs is contributed by management and staff of other Shakti Group concerns like Hotel Manohar, Family World, College of Hotel Management, Shri Shakti LPG and Shri Shakti Alternative Energy.
The cheques were handed over to the Chief minister by D.V. Manohar, Chairman of Shakti Group, and Ratna D. Reddy, Director, Chirec Public School, according to a press release here.
