This Day That Age
The staid Financial Times, which conducted a survey of the make-up habits of British women, has found out that about a quarter use no cosmetics at all on their faces, rather more than half confine themselves to face powder, lipstick and foundation cream, while only about five per cent use the more sophisticated beauty aids like eyebrow pencils. Only about 25 per cent use nail varnish. Only half the women of the country use scent more or less regularly.
