GULBARGA, JAN. 6. A three-day national seminar on the "Role of National Service Scheme in the formation of youth in the new millennium" would be hosted by the Gulbarga University in its main campus on the outskirts of the city from Friday. The seminar, jointly organised by the State NSS Cell, Department of Information Tourism and Youth Services, and Gulbarga University, would be inaugurated by the Minister for Minorities and Youth Services, Jabbar Khan Honnali, and Minister for Higher Education, D. Manjunath, would be the chief guest for the valedictory function. The Vice-Chancellor, V.B. Coutinho, in a press release on Thursday, said that more than 150 key NSS functionaries, including the heads of the regional centres, State Liaison officers, coordinators of training and orientation centres, and coordinators of selected universities and directorates, were expected to participate.
