Bajaj Electricals ties up with German firm

MUMBAI, JAN. 6. Bajaj Electricals Ltd.-Luminaires Business Unit has announced its exclusive licensing arrangement with the leading European luminaries brand Trilux which is the market leader in commercial and industrial lighting in Germany.

Speaking at a press conference here today, R. Ramakrishnan, President and COO of Bajaj Electricals, said, "Bajaj Electricals has always pioneered to bring to the Indian market, world-class global standard products and solutions. With an exclusive licensing agreement with Trilux Lenze of Germany, the Bajaj Luminaires Business unit will offer to the Indian customers the state-of-the-art Trilux range of lighting products and services."

"We recognised a need gap in the market for a full spectrum of lighting products therefore we decided to tie-up with Europe's number one brand. Trilux, Ambience and Le Magique are the three brands that form a part of our strategy to dominate the lighting industry by focusing on multiple segments and applications," said Mr. Ramakrishnan.
