Seminar on zero discharge scheme held

COIMBATORE: Ion Exchange (India) Limited organised a seminar on "cost effective zero discharge scheme" in Tirupur on January 4. It was organised in co-ordination with the Dyers' Association of Tirupur and the Federation of Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs). In a presentation, the Senior Manager of the company, G. Sridhar, said that based on a pilot study conducted by it in Tirupur on effluent treatment, a cost-effective system had been developed.
