Hotel association's gesture for tsunami relief

KOZHIKODE: The Kerala Hotel and Restaurant Association would be making a donation of Rs. 5 lakhs to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund for tsunami victims, the association's State president, N. B. Krishna Kurup, announced here on Thursday. This would be in addition to the contributions already made by merchants in their individual capacity to Relief Funds set up by District Collectors and media organisations. The decision to donate Rs. 5 lakhs to tsunami victims was taken at a meeting of the executive of the association. — Our Special Correspondent
