BELGAUM, JAN. 6. The State Bank of India will hold "Belgaum Sankranti Utsav," a three-day loan mela, at the Millennium Gardens in Tilakwadi from Sunday. The Assistant General Manager (Hubli Zone) of the bank, K. Nagaraj Rao, and the Assistant General Manager of the Belgaum main branch, Ravikant Kurtkoti, announced special concessional rates of interest on housing and personal loans. To make the event interesting, a painting competition and a quiz have been organised, they added.
Financing
They said the bank has made strides in the area of consumer financing with special focus on housing finance and car loans. Loans are being given for renovation, remodelling and refurbishing the house, besides for purchase of cars and two-wheelers, they said. Festival loan, mortgage loan, education loan and other loans will be given at competitive rate of interest, they added.
