MUMBAI, JAN. 6. With the three-Test home series against Pakistan to precede the five one-day internationals, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has advanced the inter-zonal Duleep Trophy and postponed the Ranji one-day knock out tournament. The Duleep Trophy will be played be played between February 15 and March 12 and the Ranji one-day knock out from April 8 to 14. Bangladesh will be the sixth team in the Duleep Trophy. The Ranji Elite group semifinals between Mumbai and Punjab will be played in Mumbai and between Hyderabad and Railways in New Delhi from March 18 to 22.
Duleep Trophy schedule: Group `A': North, West and South, Group `B': East, Central and Bangladesh: Feb. 15-18: North v West (Kanpur), East v Central (Bikaner), Feb. 22-25: West v South (Kanpur), East v Bangladesh (Nagpur), March 1-4: North v South (Indore), Central v Bangladesh (Jaipur), March 8-12, Final (Nagpur).
