PONDICHERRY, JAN. 6. A delegation of legislators and office bearers of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) today met the Union Social Justice and Empowerment Minister, Meira Kumar, and the Union Minister of State, Subbulakshmi Jagadeesan to apprise them of the damage caused by the tsunami to the coastal villages in Pondicherry and Karaikal. The two Ministers had visited some of the affected hamlets earlier.
