THRISSUR, JAN. 6. The Sreekrishna Higher Secondary School, Guruvayur, maintained its early lead with 114 points in the District Higher Secondary Schools Youth Festival at Puranatukara, near here, on Thursday when results of 52 events were announced.

The National Higher Secondary School, Irinjalakuda, stood second with 99 points and the Sacred Heart Convent Girls Higher Secondary School, Thrissur came third scoring 93 points.

The following are the results of some of the events (in the order of first, second and third places):

Folk dance (girls): 1. Merina Mary Antony, Sacred Heart CGHSS, Thrissur; 2. Limisha Asharaf, National HSS, Irinjalakuda; 3. Minu Tilak, SN Trust HSS, Nattika, and Athira. A. Varma, St. Joseph's CGHSS, Thrissur.

Story writing (Malayalam): 1, Manazy K. Babu, St. Clare's CGHSS, Thrissur; 2. K.A. Muhsina, St. Paul's CGHSS, Kuriachira; 3, T.S. Shilna, Government Kerala Varma HSS, Eriad, V. Sruthi Tilak, Government Girls HSS, Kodungallur and Soumya Narayan, St. Joseph's CGHSS, Thrissur.
