HYDERABAD, JAN. 6. K. Surekha (DRR) bagged a `double' winning the table tennis singles and doubles event in the ICAR inter-institutional sports meet at Railway Grounds here today.

The results:

Men: Volleyball: 1. CPCRI, Kasargod; 2. DOR, Hyderabad. Badminton: 1. IIHR, Bangalore; 2. CPCRI, Kasargod. Table tennis: 1. CRIDA, Hyderabad; 2. IIHR, Bangalore. Carrom (singles): 1. Sham Bahadur (NAARM); 2. P. Abdulla (NRCC).

Women: Badminton (singles): 1. K.K. Rukmini (NAARM); 2. S. Swaroopa Rani (DOR). Doubles: 1. S. Ashalatha & K. Smitha (CMFRI); 2. S. Swaroopa Rani & V. Kalpana (DOR). Table tennis: 1. K. Surekha (DRR); 2. V. Bhagyalakshmi (CTRI). Doubles: 1. K. Surekha & Rekha Rani (DBR); 2. K.B.R.S. Visarada & C. Aruna (NIRCS).
