Anand bags five wkts.

NEW DELHI, JAN. 6. A five-wicket haul by T. Anand helped Youngster Club beat Food Corporation of India (FCI) on the basis of the first innings lead in the premier division DDCA league two-day cricket match at the Kalindi College ground here.

The scores: Premier division: Youngster CC 200 in 88.2 overs (Rohit Sharma 68, Akash Malhotra five for 50) and 53 for one in 19 overs vs FCI 115 for nine in 31.2 overs (Naveen Negi 58, T. Anand five for 56).

Plate-I: Delhi Wonders 124 in 31.4 overs (Surender Kumar 55) lost to Yorks CC 127 for six in 31.3 overs.

Super Plate-I: Ashoka CC 201 in 39.3 overs (Vikas Katyal 54, Rajbir Verma 46) bt Universal CC 145 in 34.4 overs (Naveen Dhaiya 87, Dalbir four for 31).
