Veerabadran, Kalidass win

CHENNAI, JAN. 6. G. Veerabadran of ICF and R. Kalidass of Southern Railway won their respective weight categories to give the southern region an inspiring start in the all-India inter-Railway weightlifting championship which got underway here on Thursday.

His snatch actually was lesser than the second placed Vinoth Kumar of Southern Railway but made it up with a good lift in the clean and jerk. For R.
