THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JAN. 6. The South Zone leg of the National junior women's cricket tournament will be held here from January 7 to 9. Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh will take part in the three-day tournament, which will be held at the Agriculture College and Medical College grounds. The tournament will be conducted on a league format and the top two teams will qualify for the final leg of the junior Nationals which will be held in Kolkata. The Kerala Sports Council President, Mohanachandran, will inaugurate the tournament.
Jan. 7: Karnataka v Andhra Pradesh (Agriculture College); Kerala v Tamil Nadu (Medical College).
Jan. 8: Karnataka v Tamil Nadu (ACG); Kerala v Andhra Pradesh (MCG).
Jan. 9: Tamil Nadu v Andhra Pradesh (ACG); Kerala v Karnataka (MCG). Our Sports Reporter
