COIMBATORE, JAN. 6. The Commercial Crime Investigation Wing (CCIW) police have arrested E.N. Duraisamy, a former secretary of Kanuvaikarai Primary Agricultural Co-operative Bank, in Puliampatti near Avanashi on charges of embezzling Rs. 18 lakhs.
Arrested for forgery
The Race Course (Crime) Police have arrested a merchant Kannan (45) of Cuddalore residing at BKR Nagar on Sathyamangalam Road in Ganapathy for manufacturing and marketing inks under a Korean brand name by forging the labels.
Kattoor Police has launched a manhunt for burglars who broke into the house of Narayanasamy, a bank manager, residing on Gandhipuram 5th Street, in broad daylight on Wednesday.
