BANGALORE, JAN. 6. The Fraser Town Police have arrested V. Babu (48) of Cox Town on the charge of theft and recovered from him 300 audio and video CDs, electronic gadgets, tailoring machines and sofa covers.
Sentenced
The 9th Fast Track Court has sentenced Bhuvanendra of Banaswadi to two years imprisonment and fined him Rs. 2,000 for allegedly abetting his wife's suicide. The police said Bhuvanendra's wife, Lakshmi, committed suicide by setting herself ablaze on October 27, 2002, as he used to torture her.
