MACHILIPATNAM, JAN. 6. Badiga Ramakrishna, MP, told reporters here that a new express train from Machilipatnam to Visakhapatnam would be introduced on January 13 via Bhimavaram. He said that he had discussed with the railway authorities for getting this facility for the people of Machilipatnam as a New Year boon. He also said that additional bogies would be attached to the new express train from Bhimavaram. He also said that he held discussions with the chairman of Andhra Bank, T. S. Narayana Swamy, and secured sanction for the construction of three cyclone shelters, costing at Rs. 10 lakhs.
