THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JAN.6. The Railways have announced that four Express trains proceeding to the State would skip Chennai Central in view of the line block being enforced in connection with the engineering work in Basin Bridge-Korukkupet section from January 7 to 23.
Four trains
According to a railway release here, all the four Express trains, which are scheduled to arrive at Chennai Central at 1.10 a.m. on the dates mentioned against them, would be diverted via Kotukkupet-Vyasarpadi-Perambur with stoppage at Perambur. The trains that are to be diverted with the dates are as follows: 5012 Gorakhpur-Thiruvananthapuram Sagar Express (January 8, 9, 11, 15, 16, 18 and 22), 6325 Indore-Thiruvananthapuram-Ahilyanagari Express (January 12 and 19), 6327 Bilaspur-Thiruvananthapuram Express (January 10, 14, 17 and 21) and 5222 Barauni-Ernakulam Express (January 13 and 20).
