RJD unhappy, to contest 25 seats
By Our Special Correspondent
NEW DELHI. JAN. 7. The Rashtriya Janata Dal ( RJD) today signalled its protest against the seat- sharing agreement between the Congress and the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), by threatening to contest 25 seats in Jharkhand. ``This agreement was reached behind the back of the RJD and does not do justice to us. We will put up candidates in at least 25 seats,'' the RJD spokesman, Sanjay Paswan, said.
Mr. Paswan said that as the three parties were part of the United Progressive Alliance and were in the process of negotiating a seat-sharing arrangement in Bihar, the Congress and the JMM should not have worked out a separate arrangement.
