Nathan shines

S.T. Nathan's 81 helped Ramesh Flowers Recreation Club, Tuticorin defeat Santhome Cricket Club, Chennai by 17 runs in the 12th annual Kayathur R. Vaidhyanatha Iyer Memorial Trophy State-level cricket tournament at Rajanthottam ground here on Friday.
The scores: Ramesh Flowers RC 199 for six in 30 overs (S.T. Nathan 81) bt Santhome CC 182 in 29.2 overs (V. Sushil 82, D.R. Anbu Ezhil 40, R. Selvaraj four for 30).
Victoria CC, Myladuthurai 192 for five in 30 overs (V. Anand 50, Munusamy 42, Ganesh 40) bt Pudukottai RC, Tiruchi 103 in 25.1 overs (Ganesh four for 10).
