HYDERABAD, JAN. 7. Books, books and only books. Just step into YMCA, Secunderabad, and a wide variety of books welcome you. And they are not just books, but they are the `Best' books available at cheapest prices, which one would perhaps never get to buy. Two brothers -- Mohammed Ahmed Ali and Mohammed Hamed Ali -- of the famous Best Book Centre have brought to you a collection of rare and old books at discount prices. The exhibition and sale of old books, over 25,000 of them, are on the shelves, ready to form part of your unique book collection. "These days not many people read books. We organised this exhibition to encourage book reading, especially among students," points out Mr. Ahmed Ali. The books mostly come from Mumbai and Delhi.
Something for everyone
The discounted rates are sure to leave one surprised. Pick up any Encyclopaedia from the several volumes available, and it would cost a mere Rs. 50. Ditto is the case with other costly and rare books. "With less money, more number of books can be purchased," says Mr. Ali. There is fiction, bestsellers, literature, books on health, cookery, tours, children's books and a lot more for everyone. The exhibition is on till January 17.
