NEW DELHI, JAN. 7. There was no improvement in the power situation across the Capital today with major parts of South Delhi, East Delhi and West Delhi experiencing "erratic" supply and hours of unscheduled load-shedding. Though Delhi Transco officials said the maximum load-shedding was less than 150 MW and that too for about an hour, officials in the discoms and the Northern Grid -- monitoring the situation in Delhi -- said the power cuts amounted to more than 250 MW. BSES, which distributes electricity to two-thirds of the city, even came out with an official statement conceding "massive shortfall" from adjoining feeder stations. The problem was also due to low frequency in the Northern Grid, the statement said.Among the worst hit colonies were R.K. Puram, Munirka, Chittaranjan Park, Tughlakabad, Badarpur, Okhla, Chandni Chowk, Jamia, G.T. Road, Brijwasan, Nand Nagri, Dwarka, Pitampura and Rohini.
