J&K singers chip in to raise funds

SRINAGAR,
JAN. 8.
Kashmir's popular singers on Thursday enthralled the audience in a music show to raise funds for tsunami victims. It was organised by Newline Cinema in collaboration with Genesis Television, Southcity Television and Studio Next.
Waheed Jeelani, Kingpaul Singh, Jameela Khan, Aijaz Sahir, Aijaz Rah and Shaheen appealed to the people to donate generously.
The Jammu and Kashmir Bank and HDFC Bank, have already opened an account for collection of donations. The former has donated Rs. 1 crore.
The Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, has sent Rs. 1 crore to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund.
