Bobbili veena for Dubai fair
VISAKHAPATNAM,
JAN. 8.
The famous Bobbili veena has been selected as one of the exhibits from the State for the month-long International Trade Fair to be held in Dubai from January 12.
Informing this to reporters here on Saturday, the manager of Lepakshi Emporium in the city, K. Srihari, said that this was the first time such an honour was extended to the Bobbili artisans.
Products of five craft development centres in the State, including the one in Bobbili, would be on display at the Dubai show.
Eighty artisans from all over the country are exhibiting their wares at the show which will conclude on January 14.
