VISAKHAPATNAM, JAN. 8. L&T John Deere Private Limited launched its 40 HP tractor 5103 model, specially made to suit rough soil conditions and requirements of Andhra Pradesh farmers. The tractor is equipped with heavy duty transmission, high torque engine and trouble-free oil immersed disc brakes. It offers features like coolant, overflow reservoir, oil jet for piston, pressurised lubricants for top gear shaft, planetary reduction and side gear shifting levers, according to the L&T John Deere Private Limited zonal manager, Mukul Varshney. He said that all these features would make this tractor ideal for hard soils at high tropical conditions in the State by performing for hours without any problem. Mr. Varshney said that the tractors were available in the market in the range of 40, 42, 47, 50, 55 and 70 HP.
