If the Government fails to accede to our demand, a meeting of teachers, principals and representatives of the managements would be convened on February 5 to decide future course of action, it was decided at the meeting. The meeting also urged the State Government to nominate its representative to the search panel for Vice-Chancellor for Manonmaniam Sundaranar University at the earliest in the wake of the resignation of the earlier government nominee, Swaminathan.
