APSS-Valerian final
HYDERABAD,
JAN. 8.
Andhra Pradesh Sports School and Valerian Grammar School entered the final of the St. Andrew's inter-school football tournament for the Dr. John de Souza Trophy here today.
APSS recorded an emphatic 6-0 win against St. Patrick's HS, thanks to Bharath who slammed in three goals and Satish (2). D. Shobhan Babu netted the first goal in the sixth minute.
In the semifinal, Valerian edged out St. Andrew's HS 4-1 via tie-breaker with Nikhil, Suraj, Vinash, Edwin scoring for the winner, while only Selvan was on target for the loser.
