Kurukshetra beats Pune

Kurukshetra University (N. E. Zone) beat Pune University (S.W. Zone) 32-27 in the four-team Pool B league of the All India inter-zone inter-university women's kabaddi tournament conducted by Manonmaniam Sundaranar University at V.O.C. Stadium, Palayamkottai here on Saturday.
The eight teams (four from South West Zone) and (four from North East Zone) have been divided into two pools for the quarter-final league and two top teams from each pool will qualify for the knock-out semi-finals.
Earlier on Friday night defending champion, Mumbai University emerged winner of the South West zone inter-University tournament defeating Shivaji University 21-20.
