Lara hits century

MELBOURNE, JAN. 8. West Indies captain Brian Lara stroked an unbeaten 116 to lead his side to a four-wicket win over Australia `A' in its limited-overs warm-up match in Hobart on Saturday.

Brief scores: Australia `A' 263 for eight (D. Hussey 128, C. White 61, Bravo 4 for 42) lost to West Indies 266 for six (C. Gayle 40, B. Lara 116 not out, S. Chanderpaul 42).
