Special package for textile sector

KOCHI,
JAN. 8.
The Industries Minister, K.V. Ebrahim Kunju, has said that the opportunities offered by the textile and garments sector will be utilised to generate more employment.
Talking to presspersons today, the Minister said that a special package would be evolved for the sector so that employment could be generated for women also. He said that it would be his effort to create a friendly atmosphere between the employers and employees and promised that the poverty eradication programme at Mattancherry would be completed at the earliest.
