Guruvayur festival from February 13

THRISSUR, JAN. 8. The annual festival of Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple will be held from February 13 to March 2.

The flag for the festival will be hoisted on February 21 and `Arat', the concluding ritual, will be held on March 2, said a release received here today. Children below five years will not be admitted to the `Nalambalam' of the temple during the festival days to maintain the sanctity of all `thanthric' rites and poojas connected with the festival, the release added.
