Easy for Sirajuddin

Syed Sirajuddin blanked M. Shashwath 25-0, 25-0 in the second round of the men's singles in the 27th senior State carrom championship here on Saturday.
In the women's section M.D. Malini of BSNL weathered a stiff resistance from Clara of AGORC to win 16-21, 22-14, 20-6.
Other results: Men's singles (second round): Zahir bt Kishore 25-3, 24-3; Ramesh bt Prakash Kumar 22-7, 3-25, 23-1; Anand bt C. Sagayaraj 22-18, 25-0.
