BANGALORE, JAN. 8. Amitabh Poddar emerged winner of the inaugural edition of the BGC Malaysia Airlines and Malaysia Toursim golf tournament at the BGC here on Saturday. Poddar with 29 points bagged the 0-12 handicap section from Naresh Sachdev who had 28 points. Dhanalakshmi Rice won the 13-24 handicap section and S.K. Raghunandan finished runner-up. Deepak Anand and Sanjay Malpani won business class tickets to Malaysia in a lucky draw from among the competitors.
0-12 handicap: 1. Amitabh Poddar (29); 2. Naresh Sachdev (28); 3. Suresh Mouli (27).
Nett score: 1. Ramesh Mouli (34); 2. Rosli Ismail (34); 3. Sudarshan Maney (33).
