Prerna all the way
GURGAON,
JAN. 8.
Prerna Mythri won a triple crown in the Delta AITA Super series junior tennis tournament at the NTA Complex here on Saturday.
The Andhra girl won the singles titles in the under-14 and under-16 sections, and added the doubles title in the under-14 section to her collection.
The results (finals):
Boys: Under-16: B. Vikram Reddy bt Christopher Marquis 5-7, 6-2, 6-2; Under-14: Ronak Manuja bt Menta Gopinath 6-1, 4-6, 6-3; Doubles: Subhash Rao and Shiva Sangwan bt Ronak Manuja and Menta Gopinath 9-8 (6).
Girls: Under-16: Prerna Mythri bt Y. P. Aishwarya 6-2, 6-4; Under-14: Prerna Mythri bt G. Janaki S. Rao 6-2, 7-5; Doubles: Prerna Mythri and Gopika Kapoor bt Prerna Bhambri and Garima Vatwani 9-8 (5).
