Alappuzha

ALAPPUZHA, JAN. 8. The Tourism Minister, K.C. Venugopal, today visited wards of the Alappuzha Medical College Hospital where those injured in tsunami attack in the coastal areas of the district are admitted. The Minister enquired about the treatment facilities available at the hospital and offered Government help for the injured. He also visited Abdul Rashid, a native of Aanary panchayat in the district, who was injured in the tsunami attack in the Andaman and Nicobar islands. He is undergoing treatment here.
