Kerala cultural fete in Chennai

KOZHIKODE, JAN. 8. The Kerala Cultural Association will showcase the cultural and literary heritage of Kerala during a three-day programme at the Asan Memorial Higher Secondary School in Chennai from January 14. The event, named `Keralappazhama', will feature an exhibition of the antiques of Kerala, drawings of ancient architectural building by Madanan and a folk-song performance `Pattum parunthakettum.'

The programme will be presented by Neithukkoottam, Kottarakkara. A literary meeting featuring Prof. V. Madhusudhanan Nair, K.K. Marar and K.M. Prabhakara Warrier and a painting competition for children, to be held on January 15 would be some of the highlights of the event, according to T.M. Dayanandan, secretary of the Kerala Cultural Association.
