UDUPI, JAN. 8. Ammunje Padmanabh Nayak, former President of the Udupi Town Municipal Council, died here after a brief illness on Friday. He was 78. Mr. Nayak was associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He was in the Jansangh and later the Bharatiya Janata Party. He served as President of the Udupi Town Municipal Council in 1975. He is survived by three sons and a daughter.
