UDUPI, JAN. 8. T.K. Chandrashekar Das, former judge of the Mumbai and Kerala high courts, on Saturday said students of law should inculcate the habit of reading to excel in life. He was speaking as chief guest at a function to inaugurate cultural programmes being held as part of "Law Fest" organised by Vaikunta Baliga College of Law here. Mr. Das said law students should read books on different subjects, apart from those on law. An advocate has to deal with a variety of subjects. Good reading will go a long way in helping an advocate. Law students are in a very competitive profession, and they have to struggle to succeed in life. All this calls for hard work, he said. M.M. Nadig, principal of the college, welcomed the gathering.
