CHENNAI, JAN. 8. Traffic on the Ennore Expressway was disrupted at two places for about an hour today after fisherfolk staged a road roko. Police said that around 8.30 a.m., fisherfolk from Nalla Thanneerodai Kuppam near Tiruvottiyur squatted on the road, demanding relief materials for members and non-members of the fishermen's society. People from Lakshmipuram Kuppam, Tiruvottiyur, also blocked the road, making the same demands. They dispersed after the Tiruvallur Collector, Kumar Jayanth, met them and assured them of assistance.
