VISAKHAPATNAM, JAN. 8. The city police on Friday organised a novel competition for schoolchildren on traffic awareness. The children were given drawing books with line pictures of traffic signals and were asked to paint the colours. About 250 students from 15 schools participated in the contest sponsored by the Rotary Club and two MNCs. The Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, A.V. Subba Rao, the RTC Regional Manager, G. Ramakant, the Traffic ACP, T.S.R. Prasad, the Rotary Club-Waltair president, M. Kanakavalli, and its secretary, Leonora Mohan, attended the prize distribution function.
