MADURAI, JAN.8. The Collector and District Magistrate for Madurai district, D. Raajendiran, has ordered an enquiry into the explosion which led to the death of a person on October 24 last. He has nominated the District Revenue Officer-cum-Additional District Magistrate, K. Asaithambi, to enquire into the circumstances leading to the explosion and the death at Devankurinji in Peraiyur taluk. The enquiry will be conducted at the Travellers Bungalow, T. Kallupatti, at 10 a.m. on January 28. According to sources at the Collectorate here, those who have knowledge of the cause for the explosion and the subsequent death of a person can depose in person before the DRO. The Collector called upon those keen on tendering information before the enquiry officer to furnish their names and addresses to his Personal Assistant (General) on or before January 24..
