Additional flight to carry Hajis

HYDERABAD, JAN. 9. Air India has decided to operate an additional Jumbo Jet flight from Hyderabad to Jeddah on January 12 to carry 423 Haj pilgrims.

This follows a representation made by the Minister for Information and Public Relations, Mohd. Ali Shabbir, to the Civil Aviation Minister, Praful Patel. The Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, also sent a letter in this regard to the Union Minister.

About 500 pilgirms holding valid visas were facing problem due to non-availability of flights from Hyderabad. The flight 5865 will take off from Hyderabad at 9.35 a.m on January 12.
