CHENNAI, JAN. 9. Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

The minimum temperature rose at one or two places over north coastal Andhra Pradesh, south interior Karnataka, fell at one or two places over Telangana, Rayalaseema and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were markedly above normal at one or two places over north coastal Andhra Pradesh, above normal at one or two places over rest north coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, appreciably below normal at one or two places over north interior Tamil Nadu, below normal at one or two places over rest north Tamil Nadu and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

Arogyavaram recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 13 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

FORECAST (valid until Tuesday morning): Isolated rain is likely to occur over south Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka, south Kerala and Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather will prevail over north Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, coastal and north interior Karnataka and north Kerala.

Farmers Weather Bulletin : Isolated rain is likely to occur over south Tamil Nadu and mainly sunny weather will prevail over rest Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
