THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JAN. 9. Andhra Pradesh won the South Zone junior women's cricket tournament here on Sunday. Andhra defeated Karnataka by 12 runs to record its third consecutive win in the four-team league. Karnataka finished second. Both Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka qualified for the National junior women's tournament. Tamil Nadu crushed Kerala by 170 runs in its last league match to finish third in the tournament. Kerala, which lost all its matches, came last.
Tamil Nadu 274 for two in 40 overs (Trishkamini 125 not out, Niranjana 83) bt Kerala 104 in 35.2 overs (Trishkamini four for 22).
