KRL `A', Scorpions CC post victories

KOCHI, JAN. 9. Kochin Refineries Limited `A' and Scorpions CC recorded wins in the Ernakulam District Cricket Association (EDCA) `A' division cricket league here on Sunday.

KRL `A' scored a six wicket win over MYCA `A' while Scorpions beat Globestar Telecom by seven wickets.

The scores:

MYCA `A' 160 in 42.5 overs (Nikhil Asher 43, P. Balachandran six for 73, Arun Alex four for 58) bt KRL `A' 163 for four in 27 overs (M. Vipin Lal 88 not out, Arun Alex 51).

Globestar Telecom 159 in 42.5 overs (Raji Lal 40, Arun Raj four for 29) lost to Scorpions CC 160 for three in 25.3 overs (Satheesan 73).
