MYSORE, JAN. 9. An all-round performance by M.C. Praveen (107 & three for 42) helped Royals CC to register a five-wicket win over New Nationals CC (N'gud) in the KSCA Mysore Zone second division league encounter played at Gangotri Glades grounds here on Sunday.
Second division: New Nationals CC (N'gud) 203 in 35.4 overs (Vijaykumar 93) lost to Royals CC 207 for five in 34.1 overs (M.C. Praveen 107).
Agraharam CC 142 in 44 overs (Gurushanth 86) lost to Yuvaraja's College 143 for two in 16.5 overs (Amresh 47 not out).
YMCC 266 for seven decl. in 38 overs (inclusive of 40 penalty runs for four overs short) (S. Prasanth 88, Bindu Kiran 61, A. Manush six for 87) drew with Karavali Cricketers 199 for eight in 54 overs (N. Subramanya 46, Altaf Ahmed 44).
MCC 98 in 42 overs (Tabreez four for 21, Nagesha four for 33) lost to City Cricketers (Mandya) 99 for five in 29.3 overs.
