THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JAN. 9 . The four-day CPI(M) district committee conference will get under way here on January 12, the secretary, M. Vijayakumar, has said. Talking to presspersons today, he said that 323 persons would attend the delegates' meeting being held at the VJT Hall from January 12 to 14. These would include the 284 persons representing the 23,034 party workers in the district and 39 district committee members. The public meeting on the final day would be held at the Putharikkandam maidan. The delegates' meeting would be inaugurated by the party State secretary, Pinarayi Vijayan. The party State secretariat members P. Karunakaran, P.K. Gurudasan, M.C. Josephine, A. Vijayaraghavan, M.A. Baby, M. Chandran and E.P. Jayarajan would attend. On the concluding day of the conference, party volunteers would take out a march from PMG Junction and the Museum eastern gate at 3 p.m. on January 15. At 4 p.m., a public procession would be taken out through the main city centres.
