This Day That Age
The Thyagaraja Aradhana conducted by Sri Thyagabrahma Mahotsava Sabha was inaugurated at Tiruvaiyar on January 10 by Mr. K. Hanumanthaiya, Chief Minister of Mysore. There was a large and distinguished gathering. Mr. P.V. Rajamannar, Chief Justice of the Madras High Court and President of the Mahotsava Sabha, in his welcome address referred to the excellence of Thyagaraja's compositions and appealed to the vidwans to render them in the traditional way in which they ought to be rendered.
