Letters to the Editor
Sir, Two articles in the Open Page (Jan. 4) inspired this letter. "Rethink on adolescence" seeks to blame the cultural degeneration of the present times on youngsters. I am a school student and I do not deny that I have seen the decline in values among some of my schoolmates. But I have also seen minds so strong no temptation can ever lure. As for the article, "Freedom to women blessing or blemish," it is preposterous. Use of phrases such as Adam-teasing and roadside Juliets is an insult to us who face harassment on roads almost every day. You can hide behind such fabricated terms; but they will still remain mirrors to the truth of exploitation of women.
